Seminar on “Nanotechnology in Biomedicine” Successfully Held at MIST
The Department of Biomedical Engineering, MIST, organized a seminar on “Nanotechnology in Biomedicine” on 4 September 2025 at the General Mustafiz Multipurpose Hall (GMMPH), Tower-1, MIST.
The respected Commandant of MIST, Maj Gen Md Nasim Parvez, BSP, ndc, afwc, psc, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The session was inaugurated with a welcoming speech delivered by Col Mohammad Shariful Islam, psc, Head, Department of BME. The distinguished guest speaker, Prof Dr. Md. Sharif Hossain, Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Jahangirnagar University, presented his pioneering research on the applications of nanotechnology in clinical practice and its transformative role in healthcare. The session was highly engaging and followed by an interactive question-and-answer segment.
The seminar concluded with a crest handover, a vote of thanks, and a group photo session, marking a successful and intellectually enriching event.
